Snow Event: Satuday 11/29 – Sunday 11/30

Event Forecast Timeline

Snow is expected Saturday night into Sunday morning, when the snow is supposed to turn to rain.

Forecast Impact

The hourly forecast is predicting just around 2 inches of snowfall accumulation by 6 am, which is supposed to turn to rain by 7 am as temperatures warm up to a high of 39 degrees.

Dispatch Time: 1:45 am
A middle-of-the-night plow event is possible, but based on the current forecast, we don't think it'll be necessary. Snow melted throughout the day, most pavement is bare or nearly bare, and temperatures will rise above freezing by 3 am, so it is very possible that not all of the snowfall will accumulate. Any snow that does accumulate should start melting when the rain begins around 7 am. That said, as we all know, the forecasts are not always accurate. We will be closely monitoring and measuring as always, and we are prepared to go out if needed.

Live updates will appear below.

Well, that was fast! A quick and heavy snow fall has some areas at 1.5 inches already. Our updated plan is to have drivers start their routes around 1:30 - 2:00 am. If anything changes, I will post an update below.
5:30 am
All routes are complete. Any driveways with less than 1/2" of snow were skipped.
