Dispatch Time: 12:30 am
We are continually measuring and ready to dispatch when we hit 2 inches of snow. The heaviest snowfall should be done by noon on Monday. We anticipate hitting 2 inches at some point today.

Live updates will appear below.

9:30 am
(Monday) As of 9:30 am, we are measuing around 1.5 inches at the most.
11:45 am
(Monday) Although it has continued to flurry, there has not been an increase in accumulation since we last measured. We're still seeing 1.5 inches at most, with the majority of our service area having 0.75-1 inch. The accumulation graph shows we should have about 2.5 inches already. Since we don't have that much accumulated, we might not be dispatching plows today as we originally thought--we'll continue to monitor the situation and post updates below. Stay warm out there!
6:15 pm
(Monday) After a long day of anticipating a plow event, our latest round of measuing actually shows the snow has melted more than it has accumulated. The driveways that had 1.5 inches this morning now have about 0.5 inches. It'll likely continue to flurry throughout the night, so we'll keep measuring, but we no longer anticipate dispatching our plows. It's supposed to come down the heaviest around 7:00pm - 9:00pm Monday night and 5:00 am - 7:00 am Tuesday morning but we don't expect much. I will post an update if looks like we may have to dispatch. Have a great evening!
9:45 pm
(Monday) In an unexpected turn of events, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for heavy lake effect snow until 11:30 pm Monday night. We'll keep an eye on it.
12:00 am
(Tuesday) The Mayfield area has reached the 2" trigger and we will be dispatching plows to this area. The rest of our service area has 1/2" - 3/4" of snow at this time and no other plows will be dispatched. When the drivers finish up in Mayfield, they will check the other areas again before heading in.
